    Tables - Tomahawk supports tables and tables nested inside of other tables. You can set the border style, background color (in both tables and cells), border style, embed images, cell alignment, etc. Insert or delete rows and columns into existing tables. Merge and split cells. NEW- Split tables feature and ability to convert tables to plain text. Now you can even sort your tables!

    Scratch Pads - Use the scratch pads as spare clipboards or as mini-editors.Contents of each Scratch Pad is remembered between sessions.
    Quick Format Painter - Save time and effort: Apply advanced formatting instantly. Say you've written a report in Tomahawk. You like the look, especially your headings, which are 16 pt. Bookman Old Style, horizontal scaling of 150%, expanded character spacing of 4 pt, dark blue, bold, with a text background shading of light gray. Fifteen minutes before you're supposed to present the report, your manager asks you to add four new sections to the report. You spend thirteen minutes adding the information, and the next two wishing that you hadn't chosen such complicated formatting for your headings, since you now have to apply it to all the new ones.

    Using the Quick Format Painter (Ctrl+Q) saves you that time and duplicated effort. Instead of having to manually apply the font, font effects, horizontal spacing, and other formatting to each new section heading, you can quickly copy all of the formatting attributes by using one toolbar button.
    To copy formatting, do the following.

    1. To copy attributes (such as spacing, font, size, background color and font effects), place your mouse anywhere inside the text (or select the text) whose formatting you want to copy.
    2. On the Font toolbar, click Quick Format Painter button. (Ctrl+Q)
    3. The Quick Format Painter button will change to indicate it is ready to apply formatting.
    4. Select the text you want to apply the formatting to.
      1. To apply the formatting to just one other section, click the Quick Format Painter button again (or press Ctrl+Q) to apply the formatting to the selected text. The Format Painter button will change back to indicate it is ready to select another format.
      2. To apply the formatting to multiple sections, press Ctrl+Q twice. This will apply the formatting to the text you have selected and allow you to move to another section with the same format ready to be applied again.
    5. Repeat the process as often as needed.
    Table Headers - Table header row(s) can be set to repeat on subsequent pages during printouts or exporting to PDF for large tables.
    N-Up Printing - Save on paper. Print 1-up, 2-up, 4-up and Booklet style, Odd-Even-All printing. Optionally save entire document as previewed to Pdf! Tomahawk may well be the first word processor that allows you to create 2-Up and 4-Up, fully text searchable, hyperlink enabled pdf files directly without Adobe software or specialized print drivers installed!
    Note - Bookmarks do not work in N-Up to pdf conversions at this time.

    Form Controls - You can insert Text Fields, TextBoxes, Checkboxes and ComboBoxes into your Tomahawk Gold documents. These controls can be saved to Tmd, Pdf, Xml and Html files. (View example pdf form here - View).
    Forms created in Tomahawk Gold can now be filled out and saved to disk by other users with our TmdView program which is available free!
    OLE Controls - You can embed ole controls inside Tomahawk Gold documents. Ole controls are not saved in file formats other than Tomahawk Gold documents. (Tmd, Ctd, and XML)
    Background images - Set a background image for your document. Images can be displayed as tiled, normal, stretched, bottom left bottom right, top left, top right and centered. Tables can have their own background image.
    Bullets - Tomahawk supports several levels of bullets, including the ability to use images as bullets. We would suggest (although not required) that if you use images for your bullets, that they be 32x32 pixels or less in size. Example below.
